Splashing without balls!!

I love many sports but football, especially football I hate it the most! I think it’s very stupid running behind a ball for all ninety minutes!! I can’t understand how that can take so much attention and fanaticism from people, particularly men and more especially from my boyfriend!!!!!! He’s a very big football fan, and I hate that. I think this is his biggest defect…LOL! I think sports in which you have to use a ball are the most boring.

When I started University, someone told me that all the Universidad de Chile’s students could go to the Universidad de Chile’s swimming pool. And I decided to go. I looked for the schedules and I bought some equipment. I began to go three times a week, I entered level one because I knew how to survive, I mean to float and to splash in the water but not how to swim with style jajaja, but finally I learned and I turned out to be very good doing it and fast too, especially in Backstroke. I continued practicing it but later my schedules didn’t let me. I tried to come back to swim again but I’m still very busy with my studies.

Swimming turned out to be my favorite sport to practice, it’s a very relaxing activity, you can forget all your problems and muscle pains in the water. And I’ve listened that it’s the most complete sport. To watch I love artistic skating, I remember I used to watch it in the Olimpic games with my dad who loves it too.

My all in GigaBytes

Since a couple of years, I think it was when I started university, finally I got a notebook, it’s a very old one, very slow… but I really love it, because it solved all my problems to study at very late night hours.

I started to save all my songs, movies and files and little by little my computer was with no more hard disc!!!! Since that moment I knew I had to find a solution, but without much money it couldn't be a new computer, so I began to search….search, and think, and search again… And on one amazing day I saw this baby on internet…

It’s a portable hard drive, I got it a few months ago.

Only with an USB port you can take all your stuff everywhere you want to go. And make every place feel a little more like your own house. I use it all the time, when I go to study at my friend’s house, when I need to read something at the university, anywhere, actually. It’s very very useful, you can forget pendrives and problems of memory because with this you have lots of Gigabytes to save whatever you want.

It’s so wonderful that if it’s connected to my computer it detects any modifications I have done to the files and it updates them.

The lives, loves and laughs of six young friends

It’s a very difficult decission for me say what TV shows like me the most. I think this is because I have periods of different types of likes. Sometimes I want to see something more intelectual, others I want some adventure, a little of drama or love stories. But I guess there is a TV shows that never seems bore to me. I’ve seen it a lots of times, all the episodes over and over again. And every time I see it, it makes laught and relax my mind.

Friends is an American, and very american series and tells the story of six friends and moments of their life when everything is possible, their relashionships and carrees. The series shows you such detail of their friendship and differents personalities that with the time you can feel you like one of them.

Every season makes you get attached of one different caracter. And I did it especcially in the last season with Chandler and Monica. I’m not very sure but I think it was at the penultimate episode of the last season. They get married time ago but they coudn’t have kids and they started the adoption paperwork. In this episode was born the twins that they adoptted. I wept with emotion because in the real life my older brother had the same problem and when I saw this episode, he and my sister in law were doing the adoption paperwork too. Now I have a marvellous niece called Tamara, she’s five years old. But this is another story.

Music, my sixth element

Music… it’s something really powerful, ha?

It makes me change my mood so easily.

If it weren’t for the music, I think that I would know much less English than I know now. Because my first approximation to English was when I began to translate the English songs that I liked.

At the beginning I couldn’t understand a thing, jajaja.. then I listened over and over again, I learned by heart the melody, how to pronounce the words, and most of the time I didn’t know what I was saying, but little by little the words started to sound familiar and it had a meaning to me.

Nowadays I still love to learn English songs, but now I don’t need to translate, I do it in my mind and it becomes so much easier than years ago.

The first song I translated was “Dreams” by Cranberries… I listened to it for the first time in one of my brother’s old cassettes, many many years ago.I looked for more songs by the band, and they really captivated me, they became my favorite band. I think I have a favorite song, too. The decision was very difficult but the winner is….tan tan tan... Linger!!!!!

Jajajaja It’s really beautiful, it starts with a mix of violins and guitars that make me close my eyes and calm all the bad feelings that I could be feeling at the moment.
